Purpose
Luján Oulton is a cultural producer and curator specialized in video games. For more than ten years, she has directed "Game on! El Arte en Juego," the first and only exhibition in Argentina focused on the triad of art, video games and society. In 2019, she co-founded with Jim Munroe GAIA (Game Arts International Assembly), a group and event devoted to the ecosystem of recreational cultural producers, curators and community organizers who view video game as a cultural object. In 2018, she started the research line "Cuaderno de Game Studies" at the Universidad de Palermo, of which she is the current co-editor. In addition, she is also co-founder of the Latin American Video Game Meeting, and a member of Women in Games Argentina and of the Games Studies Group at IIEAC (Institute of Research and Experimentation in Art and Review).
