Purpose

Explanation of the differences, and the pros and cons, of a diegetic user interface (UI), where everything happens within the same game, help and messages are immersed in the interface and require the user to be attentive and explore the universe, vs. the classic UI, where there are spatial elements that only "exist", such as pop-ups in the game or meta elements that are always on the screen for the player.
